to the sunrises

and the sunsets

to the after thoughts

and the before-hands

im saying goodbye

to you and yours

and to my soul

goodbye to

everything on the inside

and all thats on the surface

and all thats just below the surface

to all the places

and to all the people

to all that love

to all the sadness and hate

im saying goodbye

to all who care

and to all who dont

to the stars at night

and the sun in the sky

and rain on the ground

and the music in the air

to the clouds just out of reach

goodbye

to all the rainbows

without any gold

to all the stories

i have ever been told
